Both operators at their best here: Rrose sends us swimming thru thick waves of underwater electronic disturbance with the rolling hydrodynamics of Emboli simulating the effect of massive forces sensitively applied to the body - maybe not suited to claustrophobics or aquaphobics - whilst Canada’s Orphx uses plangent sonar devices to navigate a wide, open, perilous stretch of techno in Aurora, with the smart development of dub fluctuations designed to create on off-grid dancefloor tension. - Boomkat
